Sixth Gazelle Nomination for DIS
DIS has been nominated for the Gazelle award for the sixth time.
Danish companies who have experienced significant growth are every year celebrated when the Gazelle company of the year is selected. It is often small to medium sized companies who end up with the title. A total of only 5% of Danish companies experience a Gazelle nomination. On the other hand, it is only an exclusive half percent of the Gazelle nominees who experience to be nominated six times or more.
DIS has just received the Gazelle nomination for the sixth time, and it is very unusual that mature companies receive this highly recognized award. As a company’s earnings and revenue increase it becomes a challenge to present Gazelle-worthy growth rates. In 2003, DIS won the Gazelle award and came in first among the fastest growing companies in Eastern Jutland, subsequently, DIS has been nominated for the Gazelle award in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and now also in 2016.
“The nomination is a recognition of DIS and it is with a strong sense of pride that we accept the sixth Gazelle nomination. At DIS we keep a constant focus on growth and have a strategic goal to double the company’s size over the next three years,” says CEO and partner in DIS Michael Gadeberg.
According to DIS’ latest published annual report, the company can once again report on growth with a gross profit of 162 million kroner which is equivalent to a growth rate of almost 43 percent.
