At DIS/CREADIS, equipment and machinery have been rapidly adapting to the changing landscape of work during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has now become the norm to conduct sales meetings, reviews, and project meetings through online platforms and virtual collaboration.
Currently, three robotic lines are in the process of being set up where all communication with the customer is conducted virtually. In a recent achievement, DIS/CREADIS successfully executed a 100% for one of these robotic lines. The test saw international participants from the USA, UK, Germany, Denmark, and Poland.
Utilizing smart glasses, the machine was operated by our workshop crew in Krakow. This allowed the rest of the FAT team to closely monitor all movements and actions via a virtual connection. The only phases left now are the installation and commissioning, which will still necessitate physical attendance.
