Experienced Operation & Maintenance Engineer for the Wind Industry – Aarhus

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will experience an independent job and versatile work with professional challenges matching your technical area of expertise. You will be involved in small and large development projects and assume ownership of efficient project execution. Here you will solve tasks individually or in teams, either from the office or as a consultant based at the customer. The job as Maintenance Engineer involves a solution-oriented approach to strategic maintenance optimization within all disciplines of wind turbine and wind farm maintenance and operation. You will be responsible for solution development and execution in close dialogue with the customer. Our customers are primarily within operation and maintenance organizations with owners of renewables assets and wind OEMs. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities to have both a coordinating and leading role.

Our work environment is very agile, and you may therefore expect many different tasks and responsibilities. One of our key strengths is the back-office support from 700+ dedicated engineering colleagues in all technical areas.

Tasks could be, but are not limited to:

• Onsite maintenance and project management in close collaboration with customer stakeholders
• Maintenance plan development and task assignments that reflects equipment criticality and maintenance strategy
• Asset master data acquisition and structure setup in CMMS based on known industry standards
• Technical due diligence activities to help the customer be in control of the current asset condition
• Documentation management and tech lead responsibilities of our global documentation team
• Advisory services and consultancy work
• Conduct maintenance performance benchmarking and compliance audits.
• LCC / LCP analysis
• Safety, risk and criticality assessments based on organizational needs and regulatory requirements
• Project management

We are looking for a visionary and professional team player

You have more than 5 years of experience within operation and maintenance of renewables assets and your educational background is as a marine engineer or similar. Ideally, you have extensive knowledge from operational settings in the wind industry, either from an OEM perspective or from and owner/operator. It is an advantage if you have additional education or formal qualifications within maintenance management or project management. If you have acquired your skills in an alternative way, we would still like to hear from you.
