Internship – Project Manager

The Internship
As an intern at DIS, you will have an exciting and varied daily life across industries and with significant interactions in different organizations. You will often work alongside a more experienced project manager, and together you will be responsible for project execution. You will work on tasks such as:

• Development of concepts, budgets, and schedules
• Contacting subcontractors and partners
• Participating in project meetings.

You will receive an introductory plan and be introduced to DIS on equal footing with new employees. You will also be assigned a buddy who will be your daily contact and ensure you feel at home at DIS from the start. Throughout the internship, you will learn to work according to DIS’s project model and gain a broad understanding of the entire business by playing an active role across the organization.

What We’re Looking For
We seek a talented, ambitious individual with strong people skills and communication abilities who can envision themselves as a future project manager at DIS. Ideal candidates will:

• Be pursuing a relevant education such as Marine Engineer, Business Engineer, or similar.
• Have the desire to learn new things and enjoy being challenged with sometimes complex tasks.
• Are good at working cross-disciplinarily in projects and building relationships.
• Are result-oriented.
• Can apply theory in practice.
• Have equal interest in technology, business, and have a knack for good business acumen.
• Having a background, interest, or other experience in craftsmanship or technology is an advantage, but not a requirement.
