Senior Software Engineer – Java/C#

At DIS/CREADIS, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can combine strong technical skills with the mindset of a consultant. Our software solutions support real industry — automation, energy, manufacturing and complex engineering environments — and we rely on experienced profiles who can handle both the technical depth and the customer-facing dialogue.

This role is for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, influencing architecture, guiding customers and helping shape the solutions that make a real difference.

Your role

As a senior consultant, you will work across different customers, domains and project setups. Variety isn’t a side effect — it’s the point. You’ll be the person customers trust when decisions need to be made and challenges need to be solved.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of backend solutions primarily in Java
• Contribute with your C#/.NET expertise in cross-platform projects
• Set technical direction and ensure architectural quality
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and define the right solutions
• Drive best practices: testing, CI/CD, maintainability and clean architecture
• Collaborate with automation, embedded, mechanical and other engineering disciplines
• Mentor junior colleagues and support technical development in the team

This is a role for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys customer interaction and wants influence over how solutions are built.

What we’re looking for

We aim to attract strong engineering profiles who combine technical depth with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.

You bring:

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development (Java as your main stack)
• Experience with C#/.NET or willingness to work across technologies
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture and integration patterns
• Strong communication skills — you can translate complexity to customers and colleagues
• A consultant mindset: proactive, solution-oriented and able to navigate different environments
• Confidence in taking technical ownership and driving decisions
• Advantage: Ability to obtain HEM security clearance
