Senior Software Engineer

In Aalborg, our Embedded & Digital Solutions team is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to software-driven solutions that support industries like green energy, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be assigned to client projects based on your competencies and interests — with opportunities ranging from backend infrastructure to cross-platform systems and data analysis. You’ll collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders and ensure that every solution is both functional and future-proof.

Typical projects may include:

• Backend and frontend development for regulated industries
• Dashboard and data collection tools for global energy monitoring
• Protocol implementation to integrate device fleets in production systems
• Data-driven solutions to optimize energy use across industrial sites
• Customer-facing consulting tasks delivered through agile collaboration

Your background

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about software engineering — and grounded in a quality-first mindset. You’re collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in structured environments where expectations are high, but support is even higher.

Your background likely includes:

• A degree in computer engineering, software development or related field
• 5+ years of experience developing high-quality software in C#, Python, Java or JavaScript
• Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and backend architecture
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, validation processes, and testing practices
• Strong interpersonal skills — in both Danish and English — with a calm, confident communication style
