Tech Lead – Embedded Software

Now, we’re looking for a Tech Lead in Embedded Software to join our Digital & Embedded Solutions business unit in Skanderborg. What the role is about

You will take technical ownership of embedded software development projects – ensuring delivery, aligning with customers, and driving engineering decisions. You’ll work closely with a Project Manager and a skilled technical team, focusing on scope, quality, and results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical scoping, estimates, and breakdown of complex projects
• Translating customer needs into clear technical requirements and solutions
• Driving concept selection and technical decision-making
• Ensuring best practices in development tools and processes
• Coordinating interfaces, risk management, and quality assurance
• Maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration and team engagement
• Communicating clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders

What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced embedded software engineer who thrives on structure, leadership, and delivering quality. You take ownership and enjoy collaborating closely with both clients and internal teams.

Your profile includes:

• 7+ years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong skills in C and modern C++, plus scripting in Python
• Experience with ST, TI, NXP, or Atmel platforms and real-time OS (e.g. FreeRTOS)
• Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI, Git workflows, and modular architecture
• Danish and/or English proficiency
• A degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
