Creating new and better solutions to technical challenges

As a Technical Lead Engineer in our Electrical Engineering department, you will play a key role in delivering engineering solutions for a diverse customer base across various sectors and industries. You will oversee technical deliverables, ensure compliance with industry standards, and provide expert guidance to both customers and colleagues.

 

Your work will involve managing projects independently from a DIS/CREADIS location or directly at the customer’s site, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to our team culture, and you will take part in a productive environment by offering technical support and driving the team’s success through sound decision-making.

 

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a visionary and skilled team player with a strong background in electrical engineering and leadership experience. Passion for technology, commitment to quality, and a structured work approach are key attributes for success in this role.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
  • Open-minded, ambitious, and quality-conscious.
  • Self-driven and structured, with a collaborative mindset and decision-making confidence.

 

Competencies:

  • Experience in project execution, including customer dialogue, requirement specification, design, testing, and documentation.
  • Expertise in electrical panels and installations, and leading engineering teams.
  • Design of electrical power and control panels for various industries.
  • Specification of instruments, frequency converters, and electrical equipment.
  • Preparation of tender documentation and project management including budgeting and negotiations with subcontractors.

Until recently, wind farm projects have been limited to locations that are either onshore or in the shallow waters of the North Sea, the Chinese coastlines, and Eastern coast of the United States. Stiesdal, Shell, RWE, and TEPCO have partnered on the TetraSpar Demonstration Project to solve this problem and allow for wind generating turbines (WTGs) to be floated in deeper waters around the world. The TetraSpar Demonstration Project is a floating wind turbine prototype that is operational at the Marine Energy Test Centre (METcentre) near Stavanger, Norway.
