2CARE4

TRANSFORMING DATA CHAOS INTO STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE

2care4 is a European medicine distributor with experience in parallel import of pharmaceutical products within EU/EEA countries. 2care4 receives and processes large amounts of data every day to determine and monitor their product range. The company had been working on digitization and digital support of their workflow and decision-making processes. However, they had reached a point where they needed to restructure their systems and data. They defined a project to develop a new digital platform that would help them optimize their internal processes.

Challenges

Previously, 2care4's data imports presented a great risk as possible data errors would not be detected until the end-user stage. They were vulnerable because they were dependent on individuals, and each data import was unique. The company needed to structure their inputs in a way that would allow them to make the right decisions in the future. They were uncertain whether to choose a standard system or develop their own for data imports.

Solution

To address these challenges, DIS/CREADIS acted as a sparring partner and assisted with software and data architecture, as well as the optimization of 2care4's internal processes and decisions. DIS/CREADIS challenged 2care4 on their actual data structure and convinced them to use a standard solution for all data imports, where the data is cleaned and structured. It took time to structure all their inputs, but this ensured a simpler system that allows them to use their programming resources where they generate the most value. Now, 2care4 has a much better overview of their products and an analysis tool that reflects the way they wish to conduct analysis. The new system is easier to maintain, and the same important data are structured in a standard database, enabling 2care4 to make the right decisions in the future.

Why DIS/CREADIS

2care4 chose DIS/CREADIS as a partner and software and data architecture provider because of our ability to quickly understand their needs. We challenged 2care4 on their data structure and convinced them of the benefits of using a standard solution for all data imports. Once a system structure was agreed upon, DIS/CREADIS had the expertise and experience necessary to optimize 2care4’s internal processes and decision-making.

“In the end, DIS/CREADIS convinced us to use a standard solution for all data imports, where the data is cleaned and structured. In the short perspective, it has taken time to structure all our inputs, but we are certain that in the long run, we will have a simpler system that allows us to use our programming resources where they generate the most value”, says Conni Fuglsang, Project Manager at 2care4.

TIB Molbiol – ACCELERATING COVID-19 TESTING: TIB MOLBIOL TEAMS UP WITH DIS/CREADIS TO DEVELOP AUTOMATED PCR TEST MACHINE WITH RESULTS IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, governments worldwide have invested enormous resources in scaling up their testing capacity. PCR testing is the most reliable test method, but it can take several hours to a few days to deliver test results, leaving a window in which infection may spread. Olfert Landt, CEO of TIB Molbiol, identified the need for a shorter lead time and came up with the idea to develop a continuous PCR test machine. Samples are not moved through the testing process in batches as is normally done, but one by one, reducing the total testing time significantly.

SKY-LIGHT – NEW FLEXIBLE ROBOTIC PACKAGING PRODUCTION MACHINE DELIVERES INCREASED SAFETY FOR NEW PLANT

SKY-LIGHT, a film and packaging manufacturer, has invested in a new production plant that required an efficient and safe packaging system. The previous manual processes were not optimal in terms of the working environment and safety, and the new plant had to be able to handle rolls weighing between 200 kg and 1800 kg (441 lb. to 3968 lb.). This meant that the packaging system needed to be very flexible and capable of adjusting to nine different packing methods. SKY-LIGHT did not have the internal resources to develop this system, and so they contacted DIS/CREADIS to take over the development, construction, design, setup, assembly, and commissioning of the plant.
