Lightweight composite structures enable larger, more dynamic and energy-efficient attractions, but they require specialized engineering expertise. CREADIS supports attraction owners and OEMs with composite design, lay-up optimization, failure mode analysis, fatigue assessments and structural validation for ride systems, show structures and animatronic components. We also evaluate the durability of elastomers and silicone skins used in animated figures, helping predict lifetime and performance in demanding operating environments.
Through our proprietary AUTOLAYUP tool and active involvement in the development of ASTM standards for composites in the themed entertainment industry, we help deliver optimized, manufacturable and reliable composite solutions.
From ride systems and animatronics to show action equipment and support structures, advanced analysis helps ensure safe and reliable operation. CREADIS provides structural analysis, multibody simulations, fatigue assessments and dynamic load evaluations to support design validation and performance optimization.
This enables attraction systems to be developed with confidence, balancing safety, durability and operational efficiency.
Digital twins create a virtual representation of attraction systems, enabling designs, controls and operational scenarios to be tested before physical implementation. CREADIS supports themed entertainment projects with simulation, emulation and virtual commissioning solutions that help validate system performance, improve collaboration and reduce project risk.
By identifying issues earlier in the development process, digital twins help accelerate commissioning, optimize operations and support more reliable attraction performance throughout the lifecycle.
Reliable attraction operation starts with a robust safety strategy. CREADIS supports attraction owners, OEMs and integrators with functional safety engineering, risk assessments, safety architecture design and system validation. Our TÜV Rheinland-certified Functional Machine Safety engineers develop solutions in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including ISO 12100, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, IEC 60204-1, UL 508A, and other applicable safety requirements.
From ride controls to show systems, our expertise helps ensure safe operation, regulatory compliance and dependable performance throughout the attraction lifecycle.

Case
Digital Twin for Attraction Development
Modern attractions bring together mechanical systems, ride controls, safety functions and immersive show experiences. To support efficient development and reduce project risk, CREADIS develops digital twin environments that combine these elements into a single virtual model.
Using CAD-based geometry, motion simulation, PLC emulation and show visualization, attraction systems can be tested and validated long before physical implementation. This enables ride sequences, control logic and guest experience scenarios to be reviewed in a shared environment, helping engineering and creative stakeholders align throughout the development process.
The digital twin supports virtual commissioning, debugging and control validation while reducing the need for late-stage design changes and on-site troubleshooting. By identifying issues earlier and improving collaboration across disciplines, the solution helps accelerate commissioning and create a smoother path from concept to operation.

Case
Engineering a Life-Sized T-Rex
Creating realistic animatronics requires more than convincing movement—it requires confidence that complex mechanical systems can operate safely and reliably throughout their lifetime. To support the development of a life-sized T-Rex animatronic for a theme park attraction, CREADIS conducted advanced multibody simulations to evaluate motion dynamics, structural response and operational loads.
The virtual model enabled critical load cases and fatigue-inducing movements to be identified early in the development process, providing valuable insight into how the structure would perform during operation. By validating the design before physical implementation, the project team was able to optimize key components and support long-term durability and reliability. The result was a more robust animatronic system, helping bring an immersive guest experience to life while reducing development risk.
