Nilfisk is a leading provider of professional indoor and outdoor cleaning equipment, offering solutions for a wide range of industries including airports, healthcare, education, retail, manufacturing and more. One of its key products is the City Ranger 2250, a versatile machine that is designed to clean outdoor areas such as parks, streets, and sidewalks.
Nilfisk faced a challenge in adjusting the glass fiber rear mudguard for the City Ranger 2250. The existing molds did not meet the company's quality standards, which was a significant concern. To resolve the issue, the company needed to find a partner who could develop an upgraded design and produce a new rear mudguard that would meet its quality standards.
To address these challenges, Nilfisk chose to collaborate with DIS/CREADIS who worked closely with them to develop an upgraded design for the rear mudguard, using composite materials instead of glass fiber. The new design and production process ensured that the standards of tolerance were maintained, and that the product met the company's quality standards.
DIS/CREADIS was a natural choice for Nilfisk project, thanks to their expertise in design and engineering. DIS/CREADIS’s fresh perspective and innovative thinking helped identify the root cause of the problem with the existing mudguard and develop a new design that would meet the company’s quality standards. Additionally, DIS/CREADIS’s ability to work closely with Nilfisk and communicate effectively with key stakeholders ensured that the project was a success.
