DIS/CREADIS was approached by ZF Friedrichshafen to assist in optimizing and developing Cherry as a self-sufficient and independent international company with its own corporate structure and management.

They have three robot cells in their injection molding and assembly departments, each with different vision systems that needed to be updated and streamlined to have a similar interface. This is a necessary step to ensure the different vision systems work together efficiently. To achieve this, Wavin sought the assistance of a qualified engineering partner.

The VELUX product development team needed to get an overview of available simulation methods that could be relevant to significantly improving their process.

SKY-LIGHT, a film and packaging manufacturer, has invested in a new production plant that required an efficient and safe packaging system. The previous manual processes were not optimal in terms of the working environment and safety, and the new plant had to be able to handle rolls weighing between 200 kg and 1800 kg (441 lb. to 3968 lb.). This meant that the packaging system needed to be very flexible and capable of adjusting to nine different packing methods. SKY-LIGHT did not have the internal resources to develop this system, and so they contacted DIS/CREADIS to take over the development, construction, design, setup, assembly, and commissioning of the plant.

One of AGCO’s challenges was developing a cleaning system for their machines that could remove dirt, dust, and debris in a more efficient and effective manner. To achieve this goal, AGCO needed to find an engineering consulting firm specializing in mechanical engineering, simulation, and product development.

Ratél is a Danish company that specializes in manufacturing products for poison-free, environmentally friendly, and ethically justifiable rat control solutions. They have developed a mechanical rat trap called RatTrap, which will reduce the number of rats in sewer systems with innovative technology. The RatTrap was also designed to send a signal when the trap had killed a rat for clean-up notification.

Plastic Omnium is a supplier of automotive exterior components that uses simulated collisions for validation when developing components. The company uses a pendulum equipped with sensors to reconstruct the collisions, and a program controls the required test stand. The collision simulation software needed to be upgraded to an updated technical level.

They needed to construct a new wood fiber factory in Latvia, where a defibrator would convert wood chips to wood fibers, which would be added as a supplement to sphagnum.
