Buddy program

At DIS/CREADIS, it is important to us that you, as a new colleague, feel welcome, and it is essential to us that you quickly become part of the team and learn about our culture and values. This is also why we have established a buddy program where you will be teamed up with a senior colleague through your first months at DIS/CREADIS who will help you to land on your feet and get you ready for your new work life as one of us.

Global onboarding days

Our culture is in many ways unique and helps guide us in our daily work. All new colleagues are therefor invited to our Global Onboarding Days during their first three months of employment, to get an in-depth understanding of the DIS/CREADIS culture, values, mindset, and strategy.

The Global Onboarding Days are a two-day event, where new colleagues create relations between department, are presented with our Global Directors, get a deeper understanding of our global collaboration, learning and development, functional areas, quality, and confidentiality and are involved in teambuilding across borders.

The purpose of this event is to give all colleagues the same vantage point and understanding of DIS/CREADIS’s background, history and development with a focus on our culture, values, vision and strategy.

Professional and personal development

We want each individual to be challenged at work and develop their talent. At DIS/CREADIS, you can develop your career within your current area with a focus on improving your skills and becoming an even better engineer, but it is also possible to develop your skills in a different direction. At DIS/CREADIS, our employees develop their skills through three different ways of learning:

• Learning through project work
• Knowledge sharing with colleagues
• Education and training

At DIS/CREADIS, you will find that you are often on the steep part of the learning curve and will gain considerable experience in a short amount of time. DIS/CREADIS is a knowledge-intensive company, and if you encounter a challenge or need a crash-course within a new area, there is often a colleague who has the answer or the right set of skills to help you. “You never work alone” is the concept we live by and knowledge sharing and the willingness to help each other is of great importance to us.

Communities of practice

Learning, knowledge sharing and developing competencies is a vital part of DIS/CREADIS. The old saying goes that knowledge is power. But we like to think of knowledge as value – and our strong team of engineers is our most valuable asset. More specifically, we are providing a solid foundation for our engineers to continuously finding new ways of working through our Communities of Practice and we are committed to nurturing a robust culture of knowledge-sharing and development, ensuring that our engineers are always at the cutting edge of new technologies and methodologies.

So, how do we achieve this? The answer lies in our 34 Communities of Practice spread across Mechanical, Electrical, Digital, Power, and Automation Engineering, as well as Project Management. These CoPs are not just knowledge hubs; they are the alpha and omega of our knowledge development and quality assurance strategy, keeping us and our clients ahead of the curve.

Global career opportunities

With our increasing global activities, new exciting career opportunities are also offered. Among other, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from other countries across borders, which to many is a new and exciting dimension.

In recent year, several of our employees have also had the desire to develop their careers by working abroad for a period. Here are some examples of employees who have worked on a specific project in one of our global offices or who have moved to a permanent position in an office abroad.

What our employees say

Jacob Halkær
Mechanical Engineer
I have always dreamed of working as a consulting engineer, as it offers many different challenges and varying projects, which in the end will give me a lot of experience. DIS/CREADIS is therefore the perfect workplace for me as I am able to test all my skills and develop. In addition, I think it’s great to be allowed to leave my little mark on the world through the projects I’m working on.

Emil Warncke
Business Leader, Mechanics
The close relationship with colleagues, where we experience an interaction between a high academic level and yet a strong social mentality, is one of the things that makes DIS/CREADIS unique. I am proud to be part of a company where a “family feeling” is present despite the great growth we have been through. It is always possible to find a good colleague to interact with, and it is also natural to have contact to your colleagues outside of working hours.
