Mechanical Service Technician

Hands-on role with assembly, service, and commissioning

Hands-on role with assembly, service, and commissioning

Do you enjoy a varied workday where you both build machines in the workshop and carry out service tasks at customer sites? Do you have a strong mechanical understanding and want to be part of a team where professionalism and collaboration go hand in hand?

At DIS/CREADIS, we are currently establishing a new spin-off within automation, machine building, and system integration. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Mechanical Service Technician who wants to join a role with broad responsibilities and contribute to making our solutions work in practice.

The role

Your work will be a combination of activities in our workshops in Stilling and assignments at customer sites, both in Denmark and internationally.

You will work with assembly, adjustment, and commissioning of machines and systems, while also supporting service and maintenance activities at customer sites. The role gives you a central position in ensuring that our solutions perform as expected, both before and after delivery.

You will work closely with technicians, engineers, and project managers, and play an important role in delivering high-quality solutions.

You should expect approximately 50 travel days per year outside Denmark, depending on system deliveries and service activities.

Your tasks

Your tasks will vary, but will typically include

  • Mechanical assembly and build of machines and special-purpose systems
  • Adjustment, alignment, and testing of mechanical solutions
  • Participation in testing, FAT, and preparation before delivery
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues
  • Service, maintenance, and repair at customer sites
  • Commissioning and start-up of systems on site
  • Travel in connection with service and commissioning activities in Denmark and internationally

Collaboration and your role

You will be part of a collaborative setup where we solve tasks together across disciplines.

You will work closely with

  • Technicians in the workshop and on site
  • Project managers on planning and execution
  • Engineers on design, documentation, and technical solutions

We expect you to contribute to a positive team environment and take responsibility for the quality of your work.

Your profile

You have a mechanical background and experience with assembly, service, or similar technical work.

We imagine that you

  • Are trained as a mechanic, industrial technician, automation mechanic, or similar
  • Have experience with machine building, assembly, or service
  • Work in a structured and quality-focused way
  • Are independent and take ownership of your tasks
  • Enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and customers
  • Are motivated by travel as part of your work

Most importantly, you are practical, solution-oriented, and motivated by working hands-on with technical solutions.

What we offer

You will become part of a workplace with strong technical expertise, a solid team spirit, and an informal atmosphere.

You will have a varied role combining workshop work and on-site assignments, where you play an active part in building and making complex solutions work in practice.

At the same time, you will join a company in development, where you have the opportunity to influence your workday and be close to both projects and colleagues.

The position is full-time, but we are open to a part-time arrangement if it better fits your situation.
