Sustainability Consultant

Are you passionate about sustainability and motivated to make an impact in the manufacturing sector? DIS is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to help our clients turn sustainability data and strategies into actionable processes and projects. You will be working closely with clients to integrate sustainability into their business strategy, product development, and production optimization, ensuring lasting and sustainable solutions.

You will be working closely with clients to integrate sustainability into their business strategy, product development, and production optimization, ensuring lasting and sustainable solutions.

Are you our new colleague?

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable colleague with a strong understanding of sustainability and ESG terminology. Your tasks will be varied, both in time and scale. More specific, your tasks, responsibilities are listed below:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support sustainability projects from analysis and calculations to reporting.
  • Perform analyses and provide consultancy that strengthens clients’ sustainability efforts and supports their climate targets.
  • Guide clients in integrating sustainable solutions and best practices within business strategies, including product development and production optimization.
  • Develop and implement measures and processes to help companies operationalize their sustainability goals.

 

Your Profile

  • Experience in ESG consulting, with specific insight into Scope 3
  • Technical understanding, ideally from an engineering background, is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex datasets related to Scope 1, 2, and 3.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape under the EU Green Deal is a strong plus, as this will help you navigate complex rules and standards, ensuring our solutions are not only innovative but also compliant with current and upcoming EU regulations.
  • Experience in project management, particularly within sustainability and carbon projects.
  • Interest in product development and process optimization, with insight into how sustainability can be operationalized through specific procedures and templates.
  • A customer-oriented approach, with the ability to communicate complex issues and solutions in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to grow professionally, as well as a readiness to share knowledge and experience with colleagues.
