Sustainable Production Processes

Sustainable Production Processes

Integrating sustainability into existing producion processes t is essential for staying competitive and compliant with evolving legislation. However, many companies are confused about where to start because sustainability involves complex, multi-faceted challenges, including understanding new technologies, navigating evolving regulations, and balancing costs with environmental benefits.

Understand your current sustainability performance

What It Entails

We begin by helping you navigate the complex landscape of legislation, regulations, and market requirements that impact your company.

Our team specializes in data structuring and analysis, providing you with a comprehensive, data-driven snapshot of your current sustainability efforts. This includes mapping your compliance with relevant standards, identifying gaps, and clarifying your position in relation to industry benchmarks.

If you lack the data architecture to gather the full picture of your sustainability profile, we can help you specify your data needs, identify existing data sources and propose revised data architecture that will enable you to perform automated data collection.

The Value It Brings

By understanding your current state, you gain a clear picture of where your company stands in terms of sustainability. This insight is crucial for informed decision-making, ensuring that you not only comply with regulations but also position your company competitively in the market.

Our thorough analysis helps you identify any risks and opportunities, laying the foundation for strategic sustainability planning.

Case: Arla

Optimization of internal milk powder transport processes.

One of Arla Foods Akafa’s drying towers is notably energy-intensive, and transporting milk powder by trucks to subsequent production stages has long been a challenge. For years, there was a strong desire to optimize this process, and this has now been successfully accomplished by implementing a pneumatic conveying system – also known as a powder string – that enables the powder to be transported over a distance of 120 meters.
