Welcome to DIS/CREADIS
We look forward to having you onboard!
Before you join us, we would like to give you a small glimpse behind the scenes and give an opportunity to get to know DIS/CREADIS a little better. On this site you will learn more about your onboarding, our culture, and what to expect once you join us.
Your first months of employment
As a new employee you will experience many “firsts” and have numerous questions along the way as you begin the journey of becoming an experienced and successful DIS/CREADIS employee.
Our introduction strives to make you feel welcomed and well-prepared to engage in your new workday at DIS/CREADIS. Therefore, your onboarding is planned to provide you with all the necessary information and support to help you succeed in your role. We hope that you will also actively contribute to your own onboarding with a curious and open mindset and investigate your own continued development.
Buddy program
We know that joining a new organization, entering a new role, and connecting with new colleagues can be overwhelming at first.
To support you during your onboarding period, you will be teamed up with a buddy, who is an experienced DIS/CREADIS colleague.
Your buddy will follow you during your first three months as a “go-to person” for when you have doubts about any work-related matters or simply need help becoming familiar with “how we do things around here”.
Three month dialogue
At your three-month dialog, you will, together with your manager, mutually evaluate the first three months of employment and align expectations going forward.
This dialog is a supplement to the ongoing dialog between you and your manager and allows for a more structured evaluation of the first three months of employment.
Global onboarding days
Your participation in our Global Onboarding Days aims to ensure that you have the foundation to succeed in your role.
You will be invited to a two-day-long Global Onboarding at our headquarters in Denmark, along with other new colleagues. During these days, you will be digging a bit deeper into the organization and getting more insight into our culture, values, processes, strategy, etc. Furthermore, this is an opportunity for you to get to know other colleagues across countries, departments, and functional areas.
Your first months of employement
Our culture is the heart of our company, and we are sure that this is one of the main secrets to our success. We have many examples of how we keep our culture and values in mind – both when we carry out our daily work and when we socialize with colleagues during and outside of work.
With this in mind, we aim to grow our culture in every corner of the company, and we hope that you will quickly experience our culture and actively engage in it.
We live by our values
At DIS/CREADIS, we have five core values that reflect the way we interact with each other and with our customers. These values work as an integrated part of our culture and help form our everyday routines and cooperation. Therefore, the five values create the framework for our internal community at DIS/CREADIS and for the services we provide to our customers.
Values in our everyday work
Our values are exemplified in our way of working, in management’s actions, and in how we treat each other. This applies to everything from the open office space, which supports our flexibility, to the openness management demonstrates at our local and global meetings; from the community we reinforce through professional and social events, to the high degree of professionalism we demonstrate throughout our project work, and the enthusiasm with which we approach our work and which our customers witness every day. The values are therefire inherent in everything we do and are expressed in numerous ways every day.

Annual festivities and events
Our community is a top priority at DIS/CREADIS, and throughout the year, we host events with both social and professional character. The events can be country-specific, department-wide, or for the entire organization, and at some events, we also include our nearest family. We believe that through informal and formal events, we truly establish a sense of belonging across departments and professional groups and strengthen our community.
Just to name a few examples, you can look forward to our Summer BBQ, customer events, Christmas traditions, Knowledge & Team-building Events, sports tournaments, summer excursions, and so on. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
Social groups
To support our planned events throughout the year, we have several interest groups at DIS/CREADIS. Some have arisen from our employees’ initiative, while others are organized by DIS/CREADIS. Some of the groups are of an athletic nature, whereas others are more technically oriented. Many of our employees are active and participate in all sorts of sports-related activities, like running, climbing, cycling, etc. During your onboarding, you will learn more about these social groups.
Communities of practice
Learning, knowledge sharing and developing competencies is also a vital part of joining DIS/CREADIS and an active contributor in our culture and the way in which values come to life. The old saying goes that knowledge is power. But we like to think of knowledge as value – and our strong team of engineers is our most valuable asset. More specifically, we are providing a solid foundation for our engineers to continuously finding new ways of working through our Communities of Practice (CoPs).
We believe in fostering a strong knowledge-sharing and knowledge-developing culture as well as providing a solid foundation for our engineers to continuously be at the forefront of new technologies and ways of working. And how do we do that?
We constantly develop our CoPs within the fields of Mechanics, Software, Hardware, Electrical, Power & Automation Engineering and Project Management. Knowledge generated within and across communities enable us to continuously stay on the forefront of the industry and proactively meet our clients’ needs.
For you this means having an additional technical and professional home besides your functional area, in which people speak the same professional language and where you will be able to benefit from sparring and knowledge sharing with your DIS/CREADIS colleagues.

Why validation is still treated as a cost center – and why that creates project risk
When validation comes in too late, even well-engineered systems can become costly to approve and difficult to scale. By starting validation earlier and designing for compliance from the beginning, DIS/CREADIS helps clients avoid costly rework, stay audit-ready, and deliver systems that perform predictably in operation.

Why validation teams are under constant pressure (and what’s actually causing it)
Validation teams rarely struggle because the work itself is too difficult. The real pressure comes from structural issues: growing workload, rising complexity, and being brought in too late to influence the outcome.

You can’t validate what you don’t understand: closing the gap between engineering and CQV
Validation gets faster, cleaner, and more reliable when engineering insight is part of the process from the start. By connecting FAT, SAT, and the later qualification and validation phases through a shared understanding of the system, teams can reduce rework, resolve issues earlier, and move from handover friction to a more efficient path to qualification.

Why life-science projects run late: the validation gap no one plans for
Many life-science projects do not slip because of design alone. They run late when validation enters too late, testability has not been built into the requirements, and critical issues surface during startup and final integration instead of earlier when they are faster and cheaper to fix.

Navigating the challenges of grid connection and compliance in renewable energy
Adapting to the Dynamics: The Importance of Grid Connection and Compliance
In the ever-evolving landscape of power systems, integrating new energy sources into the existing grid is similar to adjusting to complex and shifting dynamics. As renewable generation like wind and solar becomes increasingly prevalent, TSOs and DSOs are tasked with the intricate challenge of weaving these variable power sources into their systems. This effort goes beyond simple plant connection; it’s about ensuring that these new entrants can harmonize with or replace traditional power sources, all while maintaining the grid’s stability and reliability.
